Five Oh Eight Records was my first taste of entrepreneurship. The idea for a record label started in my last couple years of highschool. I was always sketching logos in class or daydreaming at work on how I could start the business. After graduation, I decided it was time to start.

Five Oh Eight lasted from 2002-2005. I released 3 records (one 7-inch, one compilation CD and one EP) all from different artists/bands. I learned that I had a passion for music, but not the music business. I also learned that what I enjoyed most about Five Oh Eight was creating.

I ran Five Oh Eight by myself. I did every aspect you could imagine. The only aspect I truly enjoyed however was design. I created the websites, the t-shirts, the CD art, etc. Five Oh Eight really helped me understand what I wanted to do in life, design.
